About Me

Hi, i’m Gillian
I first discovered yoga in my early 20s after a visit to the Kagyu Samye Ling for an introduction to Buddhism weekend. There I met a yoga teacher who told me how she incorporated her practice into her meditation. I found this fascinating and started to look for classes near me.
My first ever class was Hatha yoga, straight away I was hooked. I loved the feeling of breathing into movements and feeling the release of stretching. I then attended all different kinds of yoga from Kundalini to Ashtanga. I decided this was something I needed permanently in my life so I decided to join a 100 hour deep exploration of Seasonal yoga course.
This for me was the turning point when I realised I craved the ancient knowledge and wanted to pass this on to others, so in 2019 I joined my first 200h teacher training with Seasonal Yoga in Glasgow. With the help of some amazing teachers and guides, Yoga has now become a massive part of my life.
This will be a life long journey as Yoga and it’s 8 limbs will take a life time to study, practice and share.
I feel very privileged to have found this amazing way of life and I cant wait to continue sharing and exploring with my community.
